Lot 133 COLT MDL 1877 LIGHTNING STOREKEEPERS MDL
Colt Model 1877 Lightning Storekeepers Model with 3 ½” barrel, nickel finish and ivory grips. Serial #64784 with factory letter confirming features but grips not listed. Shipped April 3, 1888 to Hibbard, Spencer and Bartlett, Chicago, Illinois. Twenty-five in shipment. The revolver remains in good original condition with traces of nickel in brown patina. Minor pitting and erosion. PT dates and address is visible etched panel orcaliber marking. Action is not working properly. Grips are aged and authentic to period with a large chip from right bottom toe. Has good “Western Look”. Factory letter included.Est: $500-$1,000
